In a medium pot, combine…
- One can of diced tomatoes
- One can of beef broth
- A cup or so of black beans
- A diced onion (sauteed)
- About a cup of whole wheat pasta (shells)
- Dried oregano (however much suits you)
- Dried basil (the same)
- About a tablespoon of prepared garlic (maybe less if it’s fresh-minced)
- Black pepper
- A splash of fish sauce
- A splash of balsamic vinegar
